Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Finisher / Powder Coater to join our production department. This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience with metal grinding and batch powder coating. This hands-on role involves preparing, grinding, finishing, and powder coating metal components to precise specifications. What You’ll Do
Metal Finishing & Grinding
• Grind, sand, polish, and deburr metal parts to achieve smooth finishes.
• Blend and finish welds to meet aesthetic standards.
• Read and interpret drawings and work orders to meet job requirements.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
Powder Coating
• Prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, masking, and blasting.
• Set up and operate powder coating spray guns, booths, and ovens.
• Apply powder coatings to achieve consistent coverage, color, and finish.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and make adjustments as needed.
General
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with fabricators, welders, and other team members to meet production goals.

What We’re Looking For
• Must have a min of 5 years’ experience in metal finishing/grinding and batch powder coating
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and technical job specifications.
• Physical stamina: ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Safety-minded, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Experience blending TIG/MIG welds.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and troubleshooting.
